Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) As Melbourne Airport prepares for a new runway, an expanded international terminal and upgraded ground transport, the city will welcome the global aviation leaders shaping how passengers experience that growth.
The ACI World Airport Experience Summit 2027 will take place in Melbourne from 20 to 24 September, marking the event’s first edition in Oceania. More than 800 airport executives, customer-experience specialists, technology providers and industry partners are expected to attend.
The summit will explore innovation across passenger services, airport design, operations, accessibility and employee experience. It also gives Melbourne Airport a timely platform to share its customer-focused initiatives and infrastructure plans with an international audience.
“We’re proud of our world-leading accessibility and customer-service initiatives, and we look forward to welcoming delegates from around the world to share their ideas, insights and innovations,” said Melbourne Airport CEO Lorie Argus.
The event was secured through a bid led by the Melbourne Convention Bureau with Melbourne Airport and support from the Victorian Government and Tourism Australia. It is expected to contribute around A$5 million to Victoria’s visitor economy.
