Associations are not eternal. Many have been around for decades without changing their mission, but most have shifted how they operate at least once – and some have become redundant and ceased to exist altogether.
This webinar looks at three real-life scenarios: two associations that merged into one, exploring the motivations, benefits and structural design behind the joint entity; a trade association whose members split into two separate entities, and the pivotal role a CEO plays in managing that risk; and the practicalities of winding down operations altogether, from quiet closures to high-profile ones, with input from partner EY Law on the administrative side.
Organized by ESAE, the session features Adam McCarthy (Secretary General, European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers’ Association), Adriana Martins (PM, CEN and CENELEC) and Antoine Druetz (Partner, EY Law).
